Aseel
Two months later, a guy from school saw us kissing. A lot of rumors started spreading then. It’s that time by the end of the semester. So, I met up with Sarah in our last day of school and had to tell her about the decision I made. I was waiting for her in the cafeteria.
I saw her walking near the cafeteria door. She was feeling down, there was this sad look all over her face though, when she met my gaze. Her face lit up and she fastened her steps base. She was in front of me then “I miss you.” She said and kissed my forehead. I felt bad about what I had to tell her.
“I’m transferring to another school next year.” I said immediately. She backed up and sat on the table. “You’re leaving me?!” She asked. “I’m leaving this school.” I said. “Why are you telling me this now?” Sarah asked. I lifted my feet off the floor to the chair and looked at the ground.
“I don’t want to lose you, but I have to leave this school.” I tried to explain. “And you deserve to know.” I completed. She held my hand, “If you were to tell me sooner…” she trailed off. “…I would’ve gone with you.” And she hugged me tightly.
I was transferring to a government school. In government school, that would be my first year of high school. Sarah slept over at my place the night before the first day of school. The sleepover was her idea. She claimed that, I would miss her more that way.
She made me breakfast, walked me to the door and gave me a morning kiss. I was told that this government school was all girls’ school. I didn’t know what to expect. I was also worried about Tariq though Sarah assured me that she would keep an eye on him which put me at ease.
When I got to school before stepping out of the car I noticed a girl who was just stepping out of her car. I think that was her mother next to her. She had deep black hair that reminded me of Sarah. I missed Sarah a lot. I have to stay strong and survive one day without her I thought to myself. I entered school after that girl. I didn’t know what to do.
She didn’t look as if she had any idea either. A teacher stopped her, "'Intay mostajeda?' are you a freshmen?" the teacher asked. "yah." That girl answered. "'Shaklich 9'ay3a, sheno esmich?' you look lost, whats your name?" the teacher was asking trying to help. "Sienna." she answered with a short answer again. "'ta3aly ma3ay' come with me." the teacher said, that girl (Sienna) nodded and followed.
I followed them. I had no idea what to do next. So I replayed the same answers that girl (Sienna) did. After I was done and got my schedule, I wanted to thank that girl (Sienna) though she was with some people already. So, I saw that girl who was standing alone she looked like a second year student and asked her to help me find the class.
I went to class and sat in one of the empty chairs. Before the beginning of that class that girl (Sienna) entered. She sat in the first chair. Class started and I thought if I should tell her what happened and thank her. By the end of the class I thought it wouldn’t matter, it’s not like she noticed me anyways.
I left class quickly and went to the next one. Little after I sat in class that girl (Sienna) entered. "'Tawa Kan 3endich 7asob, 9a7?' you were in computer class just now, right?" that girl (Sienna) asked. I was surprised that she noticed me. "Yah." I answered. "'Ana Sienna.' I'm Sienna" Sienna introduced herself to me. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aseel." I answered.
The day went by normally. I missed Sarah most during lunch break. So I decided to go to my next class and miss lunch break. After lunch break I had science. Ten minutes after class started Sienna and her friends entered class and were scolded by the teacher.
When Sienna noticed me she waved at me and I smiled politely. I actually couldn’t wait for that class to finish. So, as soon as it was done, I went to my next class which was English.
I wasn’t in the mood anymore. I just wanted to go home and see Sarah. So I put my bag in the seat next to me so no one would sit there. When I looked up Sienna was standing by the door. There was something about that girl that calms me down.
So, when she saw me I waved at her and called her over to sit in that seat beside me. "Sweet! Now we in English class as well." I said. Sienna just smiled. The teacher entered class. Five minutes before the end of the class, our teacher sat and let us talks.
"So what are you interests, Sienna?" I asked, wanting to know more about her. "Umm… a lot of things music, sports, art, reading, writing…the list goes on." Sienna answered. "What about you?" she asked quickly, "Music and Sports." I answered and suddenly she was taking the lead on question asking.
"What Type of music do you like?" Sienna Asked. "Rock, Metal, Core, Screamo and punk. What about you?" I said trying to maintain the conversation. Sienna Smiled. "Kind of the same add all types of Metal and Core though" Sienna answered.
"What’s your favorite sport?" I asked. “Soccer, yours?” she said. “Tennis” I answered then smiled the bell rang. "Nice talking to you Aseel, see you tomorrow." Sienna said, "You too, see you." I said. I was thrilled that school was over.
When I went out the driver was waiting. I wanted to see Sarah. So, I told the driver to go pick up Tariq. It’s still an hour and fifteen minutes before they’re out of school. Though with all the traffic we were there twenty minutes before the school is out.
After fifteen minutes I went and stood by the school entrance. Minute later Tariq was out. When he saw me, a smile filled his face. I’ve hugged him and took his bag and put it in the car and asked him to wait for me in the car. When I went back to the entrance high school students were leaving school.
I caught sight of Sarah she was talking to a bunch of guys and walking towards the entrance. I tried to hide so she wouldn’t see me. As soon as she was by the door, I pulled her toward me and hugged her tight. She didn’t see at my face.
“Seel, how I’ve missed you.” She said. She kissed my neck. “I missed you more.” I said and kissed her cheek. I’m not sure how long were standing like that though I just know that I’ve longed for her embrace.
When I got home after I finished my homework and helped Tariq with his. I called Sarah. “Sarz, How was your day?” I said. “hmm… it was good I guess, I mean I made friends with a lot of guys…” she trailed off,”… though girls avoided me.” She completed.
“I see.” I commented. “How is the new school?” she asked. “It’s was so different from our school… everything was just so different.” That’s all I could come up with. “Did you make any friends?” she asked.
“I’m not sure actually.” I tried to make sense to myself.
“How so?” she wondered.
“Hmm, I met this girl. She had the same hair color as yours, and she was nice to me.” I said. “What’s her name?” she asked. “It’s Sienna, her name is Sienna.” I said.
We were silent for a while. “It was very lonely without you though.” I said. I think she smiled, “Me too.” She said.
At 5:55 am my alarm went on, I wake up, took a shower and brushed my teeth. I checked my phone and there was a text message from Sarah.
‘Morning Love, When are you leaving for school today?!

I got dressed, and put my books in my back bag. Its 6:40 now so I went downstairs to grab something to eat. I smelled something nice, smelled like waffles. When I entered the kitchen I couldn’t believe my eyes.
Sarah was standing by the oven wearing an apron, her long hair pulled back like a pony tail. She looked so beautiful. I dropped my bag from where I was standing. She turned and looked at me.
“You don’t have to look that surprise.” She said. I walked up to her and hugged her. “You look so beautiful I can’t help it.” I whispered in her ears. She laughed. “You’re going to make me burn those waffles.” She said. I took a step back.
She put the waffles in a plate and served them on the counter. I sat on the counter and she sat next to me. She poured the syrup on the waffle and started cutting the waffle. “It looks so delicious.” I commented.
“Wait till you taste it.” She said and fed me the first bite of waffle. She kept feeding me till I finished the waffle. “How does it taste?!” She asked. “It tastes wonderful, thank you for the food.” I said as I kissed her cheek. She smiled.
I took my bag and was about to leave. Sarah stopped me. “Kiss.” She said. My face turned red. She kissed me. “I’m leaving now.” I said. “Take care.” She replayed.
I was a bit late for school. When I entered school Sienna and her friend were all sitting together there. Sienna didn’t notice me so I went straight to class and saved her a seat. When Sienna entered class I called her so she can set next to me.
"I saved you a seat." I said. "Thanks a lot, how are you today?" Sienna said politely. "I'm Fine thanks, you?" I responded. "I'm great, so what do you have today?" Sienna asked. "Third period I have PE, and the fifth period I have Arabic." I answered. "Cool we're in PE together." Sienna said, the teacher entered class and class went on.
After that class Sienna and I walked to the next class together. "Sienna, did you do the homework?" I asked. "Yes, didn’t you?" Sienna said. "Well I did but I couldn’t solve the last one." I explained. "Oh…it was kind of twisted but I solved it you can copy it if you want." Sienna said. "Really?" I was surprised.
"Yeah sure you can, let's hurry before the teacher comes to class." Sienna said. We hurried to class no one was there so we took our notebooks out and I started copying. After I’ve finished "Thank you, you been a great help." I said. "Don’t mention it." She said. We both smiled then the teacher entered class. class went on.
After the end of that period Sienna and I went to PE class. "Aseel, I can't stay with you in PE I promised my friend that I'll help her." Sienna explained. "Don't worry about it but you have to promise me something." I said. "Sure anything." Sienna said. "We'll stay in the GYM after class and play soccer together." I said. "Promise." Sienna said, and ran toward her friend.
A while after…
Sienna ran back to me, "Aseel may I ask you a favor?" Sienna asked, "Sure." I answered, "Well come with me." She said in a hurry, grabbed my hand and ran back to her friend, "Razan this is Aseel." Sienna said and continued "Aseel this is Razan. She has a problem with her hand she can’t swing hard." Sienna is explaining to me.
"Nice to meet you, first." I said and give Razan a hand shake. "Nice to meet you too." Razan said. "Don’t worry about your swing everybody have that at first you'll get the hang of it." I explained, "Well I think I'll look for another partner and you guys team up." Sienna said, and went looking for a partner.
As I was helping Razen with her tennis skills, I couldn’t help but to ask. “For how long have you and Sienna known each other?!” I asked. “Hmm…12 years I guess, since KG school.” Razan said. Class went on.
After the end of the class I was sitting in the GYM. I noticed something about Sienna. She’s always by Razan’s side, and whenever Razan calls her, she’s by her side in an instant. I didn’t understand their relationship.
"So Aseel for how long are you planning to keep me waiting?" Sienna asked. I kicked the ball to Sienna, "Not for long." I answered. "By the way Razan asked me to thank you." Sienna said. "Hey don’t worry about it." I said.
After 7 minutes, "Aseel we have science in less than 3 minutes, shall we leave?" Sienna suggested. "Yeah, sure." I agreed. We went to the dressing room while getting dressed I noticed Sienna's Tattoo.
"Nice tattoo, where did you get it done?" I asked. "Thanks, I made it myself." Sienna answered. "Let's hurry I don’t want to be late for the class again." Sienna said. A minute later we were done, and we ran to class.
We both got there at the same time Razan was already in the class, "Aseel come and sat with us." Sienna said. I nodded. "Hey Farah this is my friend Aseel." continued "Aseel this is my friend Farah." Sienna said. Sienna called me her friend. I think that was the first time in my life anyone called me. "Nice to meet you, Aseel." Farah said. I gave her a hand shake, "Nice to meet you too." I said. Class went by normally.
"Girls come over to my place tonight, okay?" Sienna said around the end of the class. "Sure I'm there." Razan said. "I'm not sure it’s a school night." Farah said. "Come on we'll study together." Sienna insisted. "Okay then." Farah agreed. "What about you Aseel?" Sienna asked.
The question took me off guard. Fist she calls me friend, now she invites me to her place. "Umm… okay." I said not sure if it was a good idea. "Cool here is my address and phone number." Sienna said, and wrote them down on a piece of paper. Sarah came to my mind I had to tell her about today.
After school I went to pick up Tariq again. I sat on the steps at the entrance after Tariq went to the car. When Sarah came out she sat between my legs and I hugged her. “I miss you.” I whispered in her ear as I kissed her cheek. “I miss you more." She said and went on.
“You seem down, did something happen in school?” She asked. “Not really… it’s just that Sienna ask me to visit her place today.” I said. “And?” Sarah wondered. “And I agreed.” I completed. “You mad at me?” I asked still holding her. She giggled, “Just make it up to me. Your mine all weekend.” She said and kissed me. So am going to Sienna’s place. I wonder what having a friend means.
Sienna
I was at Razan’s place. We were playing 1000 piece puzzles. Tomorrow is our first day of high school. We’ve been making this puzzle for four days now. It’s almost done. Suddenly Tariq entered the room. “What are you two doing? You’ve been sitting in the room for 5 hours.” he asked.
“What does it look like we’re doing Sir Second Knight?” Razan replayed. “Uh! Puzzle!!” he commented and sat to play with us. “Sir Second knight… who gave you an order to sit?” she said. Tariq stood up “Pardon my rudeness your highness, may I join your delightful game, hime-sama?” he said.
Razan grinned. “Yes you may join us Sir Second Knight.” She said and Tariq sat down. It is always relieving to see her smile like that. Throughout our game play Tariq couldn’t sit still. He kept messing around. We finally finished the puzzle.
Tariq moved closer to me and wrapped his arms around me. “So Sie-chan, what will you makes’ for dinner?” He said. “Anything Hime desires.” I answered looking at Razan. “Tariq hands of my knight…” She complained. He surrendered.
“Say Razz… don’t you want Waffles for dinner?” he asked. That act was so obvious. “I actually want pasta.” She answered. He sighed. We went home after dinner. “You owe me Waffles.” He said when we got home.
The silence was over whelming in the car I couldn’t wait to get out. I was finally at the school gate. I wonder if Razan and Farah were there yet. I entered the school gate. I wasn’t really sure where I should go nor what to do.

The teacher and I reached a large room. The room was filled with students and teachers. The teachers were giving the students their time tables. "’Gewa Eman meno ely ma3ach?’ Hello, who’s that with you, Eman?" A teacher asked as I and T. Eman entered the room.
"’Esemha Sienna, 3end meno na5eth jadwalha?’ Her name is Sienna, Where do we get her time table from?" T. Eman asked. "’Ehya tawha yaya falazem t5tar 3elmy aw adaby awal.’ She’s a new comer so she should choose a major first." The teacher explains.
"’Ee 9a7 ra7 3an baly as2al, Sienna sheno bedishen 3elmy wella adaby?’ Yah right it slipped my mind, what do you want to major in Sienna?" T. Eman asked me. "’3elmy.’ Science field." I answered surely. Both teachers smiled and told me where to go next.
I went to the teacher they led me to. She asked me to sign and gave me my time table. I took it and head to the door. "Thank you." I told T. Eman on my way out. T. Eman smiled and nodded.
As soon as I got out I found Farah and Razan, "Hey guys, I missed you." I said. “I missed you too.”Farah answered. "I missed you too, even though I saw you yesterday." Razan said and laughed.
"So what are your majors?" I asked, "Well we didn’t get in yet we just came." Farah explaining, "Then what will you choose?" I asked. "Science field." they answered together. "Cool good luck. by the way you better go quickly before the bell rings." I advised them.
After the bell rang we all went to our classes. My first class was Computer class. I didn’t know anyone in that class so I sat in the first empty chair that I laid my eyes on. That class didn’t take long. I thought it was cool.
My next class was math I loved math. When I got to class there was a girl sitting there she had short blond hair and green eye. I saw her before she was in computer class with me. So I approached her "'Tawa Kan 3endich 7asob, 9a7?' you were in computer class just now, right?" I asked. She looked kind of surprised? "Yah." She answered. "'Ana Sienna.' I'm Sienna" I introduced myself to her. "Nice to meet you, I'm Aseel." Aseel answered.
The teacher entered the class surprisingly it was the teacher who helped me earlier. She gave us around 4 home works. After that I had Arabic. Aseel wasn’t with me. During lunch break I went to see Razan and Farah. While talking about classes turned out we have science together.
"Oh! My God I can't believe it we are finally in the same class together." I was excited. "Yes that awesome." Razan agreed. When we entered class the teacher was there. She was the one who told T. Eman and me what to do. "’La79' lesh met25ren banat?’ Wait girls why are you late?" the teacher asked.
"’Kena endawer el9af.’ We were looking for class." Razan explained. "’Hatha mo 3ither ay 3ither thany?’ That’s no excuse, do you have any other excuses?" the teacher complained, "’La…bss asfen 3ala elt25er it won't happen again.’ No…Sorry that we’re late it won’t happen again." Farah said.
"’Atmana halshay tfa9'elaw.’ I hope so you may enter." she said. I saw Aseel in the class so I waved at her. Aseel smiled. The teacher introduced herself turned out her name is Wasmya. She explained the lesson till the end of class. Next I had English. It should be fun.
When I got to class it was crowded a lot of students were there. I saw Aseel. She called me to sit in the empty seat beside her, "Sweet! Now we in English class as well." She said. I just smiled. The teacher entered class. Five minutes before the end of the class, our teacher sat and let us talks.

When I got home mom was making lunch. I walked pass the living room and it was empty. No one is home cool I thought. I went to my room headed to the shower. Then I went down stairs for lunch.
My mom and dad, my sisters Manar, Moniera, Latifa, Fatima and my brothers Jasem and Tariq were sitting around the table waiting for me. "’Eslam 3alaykom.’ Greetings." I greeted as I sat at the table. We started eating lunch was Stake.
I headed to my room after lunch. While doing my homework my phone rang. "Hello, how are you?" Waleed asked. "Hey, I'm fine, what about you?" I answered. "I'm great, just wanted to check on you and see how you’re doing" He explained. "Well I'm better than ever, today was the first day of school as you know." I said. "Yah it sucks." he said. "Why what happened?" I wondered.
"No one was at school in other words I was there for nothing." he said. "Sorry to hear that." I said. "Oh well I just wanted to check on you, talk to you later then." he said. "Sure later." I hanged up and went back to my homework.
After finishing my homework I started Jamming the Bass Guitar. It’s that lovely guitar Tariq and Jassem gave Dean Razorback. After 3 hours of practicing my mobile rang.
"Hello." I answered. "Hi, how are you?" Razan asked, " I'm great, What about you princess?" I replayed. "I'm great too, did you finish Jamming?" Razan asked "Yap all done, do you have any plans?" I asked.
"Umm… I was hoping we can go out but it's kind of late and we have school tomorrow." Razan said. I laughed. "You are not really worried about school, come over to my place and we'll play some video games and bring your books along so you can copy the homework I know that you didn’t do it." I said.
"Wow! You sure know me, I'll be right over." She agreed. After 10 minutes Razan was at my place "Hey, you made it." I commented. "Yap I did, so when will you let me copy the homework?" Razan asked. "Right away Hime-Sama." I said. We went to my bedroom and Razan started copying the answers, while I was playing Resident Evil on play station 3.
After Razan finished copying the homework, "Sienna, Do you have a PE class this semester?" Razan asked. She sounded concerned. "Yes, it starts tomorrow." I answered. "Really, which period?" Razan asked almost excited. "The third period, Why?" I wondered. "Awesome, because I have PE too and you know." Razan said.
"Okay don’t worry I'll help you. You know what, come and play this game its great and you can leave the worry for tomorrow." I said. "Thanks Sie." Razan said and hugged me. "Don’t mention it." I said.
Razan phone rang, "Hello." Razan answered. She paused. "I’ll come back as soon as he’s back" Razan responded politely. Razan put her books back in her bag, "I have to go now. I'll see you in school" Razan said and gave me a hug. I walked her to the door, "Yeah, see you in school." I said and kissed her cheek.
I was back in my room. I closed the door and opened my laptop played some music, and logged online. Farah was online so we chatted till 11:30 pm. Suddenly my mom Burst in my room. "’Sheno ga3da etsawen ly hal 7aza?’ What are you doing up this late? ‘yalla sakry oo namay bacher madrisa,’ Close it and sleep. You have school tomorrow ‘in radet oo cheftich ma skta ma tlomen ila nafsech fahma.’ If I come back and it’s still on, you have no one to blame but yourself. Got it?" Mom yelled and threatened. I turned off my computer and changed into my PJs.
Next morning the alarm woke me up. While I was getting ready for school my mom was complaining. So I played the loudest music I had and completed my dressing. I went to the refrigerator, grabbed a Monster and head to the car.
When I arrived to school Farah and Razan were there. "Hi girls how are you?" I asked, they waved at me then stood up and hugged me. "We're fine." Farah answered. "Do you guys have social Studies today?" I asked. "Yes." They both answered. "Alright we are so making a mess today." I said. Farah and Razan looked at each other, "Hell yeah." both answered.
When I got to the class Aseel was there so she called me to sit next to her. "I saved you a seat." She said, "Thanks a lot, how are you today?" I said politely. "I'm Fine thanks, you?" she responded. "I'm great, so what do you have today?" I asked. "Third period I have PE, and the fifth period I have Arabic." She answered. "Cool we're in PE together." I said, the teacher entered the class.
During the lesson I finished class work first and the teacher asked me to help around. "Aseel, do you need any help?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm a bit lost what do I do next." Aseel said. "Press files then open and choose from the list." I explained. "Cool its working, thanks." Aseel said. "Hey…don’t mention it" I responded.
After that class Aseel and I walked to our next class. "Sienna, did you do the homework?" Aseel asked. "Yes, didn’t you?" I answered. "Well I did but I couldn’t solve the last one." Aseel Said. "Oh…it was kind of twisted but I solved it you can copy it if you want." I said. "Really?" Aseel was shocked. That girl is easily surprised.
"Yeah sure you can, let's hurry before the teacher comes to class." I said. We hurried to the class no one was there. So we took out our notebooks and Aseel started copying after she finished. "Thank you, you been a great help." Aseel said. "Don’t mention it." I replayed.
We smiled then the teacher entered the class. "Elsalam 3alykom, ha banat gedartaw et7lon msa2el elwajeb?" T. Eman asked. "Ee bss fe mas2ala ma3erafnaha." A girl said, "Ay mas2ala?" T. Eman asked. "Elrab3a." A girl answered. "Aha…fe2a7ad 7alha?" T. Eman asked. "Ee ana ma3a Aseel." I said.
"Hey what did you do that for?" Aseel whispered. "Okay Sienna, ta3alay 7eleha 3ala el-lo7a." T. Eman asked. I went to the board and started writing T. Eman didn’t say a thing. "All done." I said. "7elo 9a7, oo intay Aseel eshlon 7aleteha?" T. Eman asked.
"Umm…nafs-ha." Aseel answered. "7alenaha ma3a ba3a9'." I added with smiled. "Shay 6ayeb bss afa9'l ena kel wa7da et7il ebro7ha 3ashan la tetwater belemt7an." T. Eman said. I went back to my seat.
After the end of the period Aseel and I went to PE class. "Aseel, I can't stay with you in PE I promised my friend that I'll help her." I tried to explain. "Don't worry about it but you have to promise me something." Aseel said. "Sure anything." I replayed. "We'll stay in the GYM after class and play soccer." She said, "Promise." I said. Then I went to see Razan.
"So how can I help, your highness?" I asked. "Cover me till I get dressed." Razan requested. I covered her. "Let me know when you're done." I said. 2 minutes later, "All done." she said and kissed me on the cheek.
"Do you need me to cover you?" Razan asked. "Nah I'm good." Sienna said. We got out of the dressing room. The class was about tennis. Aseel and I didn’t have any problems with tennis but Razan did. So I teamed up with Razan and we started playing. Razan didn’t get the hang of it.
I thought Aseel would be a better teacher than me. "Razan wait a minute I suck as a teacher maybe Aseel can help you she's better than me in tennis." I said. "Okay." Razan agreed.
I ran up to Aseel. "Aseel may I ask you a favor?" I asked. "Sure." Aseel answered. "Well come with me." I said in a hurry, grabbed Aseel's hand and ran back to Razan.
"Razan this is Aseel." I said and continued, "Aseel this is Razan, she have a problem with her hand she can’t swing hard." I told Aseel. "Nice to meet you, first." Aseel told Razan and give her a hand shake. "Nice to meet you too." Razan told Aseel.

After the end of the class, "Sienna, can you come here for a second?" Razan called me. I ran up to her, "How can I of help, Hime-sama?" I asked. "Well can you help me with the zipper?" Razan asked.
"Sure, how was Aseel's teaching?" I asked while helping with the zipper. "She's really good, thank her for me ok." Razan said. "Yeah sure" I assured her. I just stood there waiting for Razan to finish. "And why aren’t you getting dressed, Sir Knight?" Razan asked.
"Didn’t I tell you, I promised Aseel to play soccer with her tell Farah for me okay?" I explained, "Sure, see you in science." Razan said. "Later." I replayed, gave Razan a hug and went back to the GYM.
"So Aseel for how long are you planning to keep me waiting?" I asked. Aseel kicked me the ball. "Not for long." she answered. "By the way Razan asked me to thank you." I said. "Hey don’t worry about it." Aseel said.
After 7 minutes, "Aseel we have science in less then 3 minutes shall we go?" I suggested. "Yeah sure" Aseel agreed. We went to the dressing room. While getting "Nice tattoo, where did you get it done?" Aseel asked, "Thanks, I made it myself. I’ll make you one.” I answered. "Let’s hurry I don’t want to be late for the class again." Sienna said. A minute later we were done, and we ran to the class.
We both got there at the same time. Farah and Razan were already in the class. "Aseel come and sit with us." I requested. Aseel nodded. "Hey Farah this is my friend Aseel" I said and continued, "Aseel this is my friend Farah." I said. "Nice to meet you." Farah said. Aseel gave her a hand shake. "Nice to meet you too." She said. The teacher entered class.
The class went on and the lesson ended before the end of the class. "Girls come over to my place tonight, okay?" I said. "Sure I'm there." Razan answered. "I'm not sure it’s a school night." Farah said. "Come on we'll study together." Sienna insisted. "Okay then." Farah agreed.
"What about you Aseel?" I asked. "Umm… okay." Aseel said. "Cool here is my address and phone number." I said, and wrote them on a piece of paper. "Damn, your hand writing suck." Razan complained. "Wow really. Thank you." I said.

Give me a red pen." T. Wasmya said. I brought a red pen and gave it to her. She corrected then gave me back the notebook and pen.
After that class Farah, Razan and I went to our next class. "What’s up with that teacher?" Razan asked. "I have no idea." Farah said. When we got to our next class the teacher entered after us.
We were messing around throughout the class. It got to the point where I made Razan a tattoo. I think Farah was the only one paying attention. We’re meeting after school today.

“Did you miss me?” Feras asked trying to acting all cute on me. “Yes, very much love.” I answered. “I miss you more sweetie.” He said. “How much do you miss me?” I asked. “More than you could ever imagine… What are you doing today?” he said.
“Sienna’s coming over to my place.” I replayed. “Wasn’t she at you place yesterday?” he asked. “Yes she was.” I answered. “You guys seem pretty close.” He commented.
Then continued, “I’m outside my friend’s house now, you need anything love?” he said. “No have fun.” I said. “Kiss?” he said. I blew him a kiss as I hanged up.
I went to the living room to sit with my mom. “Mama.” I called her. “Yes sweetie?” she replayed. “Feras says hi.” I said. “How is he?” she asked. “He’s good.” I answered. “Glad to hear so.” She said.
A while after the door bell rang. It was Sienna and Tariq. “Your highness.” They both said and bowed. “You shall rise.” I said and hugged Sienna. She hugged me back. “Don’t I get a hug?” Tariq complained. “No.” I said as we went inside.
They don’t know about Feras yet. “Aunt Fatima, how are you?” Tariq said and went to sit with her in the living room. I hope mom doesn’t talk about Feras. I went to my room with Sienna. We played puzzle for 5 hours or so.
We were almost done with the puzzle. Suddenly Tariq entered the room. “What are you two doing? You’ve been sitting in the room for 5 hours.” he asked. “What does it look like we’re doing Sir Second Knight?” I replayed.
“Uh! Puzzle!!” he commented and sat to play with us. “Sir Second knight… who gave you an order to sit?” I said. Tariq stood up “Pardon my rudeness your highness, may I join your delightful game, Hime-sama?” he said. I grinned.
“Yes you may join us Sir Second Knight.” I said and Tariq sat down. He was playing that knight role so well though not as good as Sienna. Throughout our game play Tariq couldn’t sit still. He kept messing around. We finally finished the puzzle.
Tariq moved closer to Sienna and wrapped his arms around her. “So Sie-chan, what will you makes’ for dinner?” He said. “Anything Hime desires.” She answered looking at me. Tariq doesn’t stand a chance against her.
“Tariq hands of my knight…” I complained. He surrendered. “Say Razz… don’t you want Waffles for dinner?” he asked. Just because he wanted waffles I wanted pasta. “I actually want pasta.” I answered. He sighed.
Sienna made me pasta. We had dinner together then they left. I watched TV with my mom for a little while then went to bed. Before I slept, I received a message from Feras.

I was deep into sleep when I heard my mom’s voice. “Razan honey, wake up. You have school today.” She said. “School?” I repeated the word. “Razan dear today is your first day of high school, don’t you want to go?” Mom said.
I jumped out of bed. Got dressed and mom made me breakfast. I ate and went outside the door. When I got to school I saw Farah coming out of the bus. We entered the school gate together. “Oh! Good morning Razan.” She said.
“Morning Farah, do you have any idea where we should go?” I asked. “The sign over there says we should go straight up right” She said. “Alright.” I agreed. There was a long line of students there. So we stood behind them.
A while after I saw Sienna coming out of that room. "Hey guys, I missed you." Sienna said. “I missed you too.”Farah answered. "I missed you too, even though I saw you yesterday." I said and laughed.
"So what are your majors?" Sienna asked, "Well we didn’t get in yet, we just came." Farah explaining, "Then what will you choose?" Sienna asked. "Science field." Farah and I answered together. "Cool good luck. By the way you better go quickly before the bell rings." She advised us.
We managed to get in and take our time tables. After that classes were normal. During lunch break I was sitting with Farah and Sienna joined us short after. While talking about classes turned out we have science together.
"Oh! My God I can't believe it we are finally in the same class together." Sienna was excited. "Yes that awesome." I agreed. When we entered class the teacher was there.
"’La79' lesh met25ren banat?’ Wait girls why are you late?" the teacher asked. "’Kena endawer el9af.’ We were looking for class." I explained. "’Hatha mo 3ither ay 3ither thany?’ That’s no excuse, do you have any other excuses?" the teacher complained.
"’La…bss asfen 3ala elt25er it won't happen again.’ No…Sorry that we’re late it won’t happen again." Farah said. "’Atmana halshay tfa9'elaw.’ I hope so you may enter." she said. I realized then that I didn’t like the teacher and we won’t get along.
When I got home after school, mom had lunch ready. “Razan, why don’t you invite Feras over for lunch?” Mom suggested. “Alright I’ll call him.” I agreed. He picked up after the second ring. “Hey sweets.” He said.
“Hi, Feras did you have lunch yet?” I asked immediately. “No, why?” he answered. “Mom wants you to come have lunch with us.” I said. “Alright I’ll be on my way.” He said. Shortly after he hang up the door bell rang.
I went to open the door. “Razanii” Feras said and snuggled me. “Come on in Feras.” Mom said from the kitchen. “Your mom is here?” he asked. “Feras…she’s the one that invited you.” I said. “Yah that’s right.” He commented.
He sure was acting weird. We got to the kitchen and sat around the dining table. “How is your first day of school?” mom asked. “There wasn’t anyone at school today.” Feras said. “Why?” I wondered.
“No one bothers to go to school in the first day. How was your day?” he said. “My day was good. I have a class with Sienna.” I answered. “That’s good to hear.” Mom commented and grinned.
“So Sienna is famous here?” Feras asked. “What are you talking about?” I demanded. “Nothing, she visits you often.” He said. “She’s my best friend.” I said. “Okay.” He rolled his eyes.
I tried to change the subject. “So, what’s your plan for the day?” I asked. “I’m going out bowling with my friend.” He said. “Aunt Fatima, did you make this?” He said.
“Yes, you like?” Mom said. “I like very much! It’s delicious.” He said. “I’m glad you liked it.” Mom said. They talked about all kinds of food and other things that am so not interested in.
After lunch, I went to the living room and sat there. Feras joined me. He put his hand around my shoulder. “Why are you looking blue?” He said. “I’m not. What do you want now?” I answered coldly.
“'Razanii Heidoi', Razanii's mean, I didn’t mean to ignore you back there… just enjoyed talking to your mother. She’s delightful to talk to.” He said. “Am I? So what now? You have a crush on my mom?” I raised my eyebrow.
I mean seriously that apology attempt of his is a total fail. He sighed. “I’m sorry, Razanii. That was wrong of me to say and do.” He said. “and?” I wasn’t satisfied. “Please, forgive my foolishness.” He sounded more sincere.
“Okay, this better be the last time.” I said. He kissed my forehead. “Promise.” He said. He stayed in my place till around 4 pm. I realized when he left that I didn’t do my homework. I wasn’t in the mood to think.
So I called Sienna. "Hello." She answered. "Hi, how are you?" I asked, " I'm great, what about you princess?" She replayed. "I'm great too, did you finish Jamming?" I asked "Yap all done, do you have any plans?" She said.
"Umm… I was hoping we can go out but it's kind of late and we have school tomorrow." I said. I laughed. "You are not really worried about school, come over to my place and we'll play some video games and bring your books along so you can copy the homework I know that you didn’t do it." She said.
I don’t know how she knew that I needed the homework. "Wow! You sure know me, I'll be right over." I agreed. After 10 minutes I was at Sienna’s place "Hey, you made it." She commented.
"Yap I did, so when will you let me copy the homework?" I asked. "Right away Hime-Sama." Sienna said. We went to her bedroom and I started copying the answers, while she was playing Resident Evil on play station 3.
While I was copying the homework I remembered that I needed to speak with her about something. After I finished copying the homework, "Sienna, Do you have a PE class this semester?" I asked.
"Yes, it starts tomorrow." She answered. "Really, which period?" I asked almost excited. "The third period, Why?" she wondered. "Awesome, because I have PE too and you know." I said.
"Okay don’t worry I'll help you. You know what, come and play this game its great and you can leave the worry for tomorrow." She said. "Thanks Sie." I said and hugged her. "Don’t mention it." she said.
My phone rang, "Hello." I answered. “Hi honey, I sent you back the driver. Since it’s late.” Mom said."I’ll come back as soon as he’s back" I responded politely. I put my books back in my bag.
"I have to go now. I'll see you in school" I said and gave Sienna a hug. She walked me to the door, "Yeah, see you in school." Sienna said and kissed my cheek. While I was on the way back home Feras sent me a voice note.
It was Sorry by Daughtry. When I say am sorry can you forgive me? When I say I’ll always be there will you believe me? Will you believe in me? He finally learned his lesson. So I sent him a text message.

When I got home I went straight to bed. My mom woke me up earlier than yesterday. I got dressed and went to school. Farah was already at school when I got there. She was absent minded.
“Morning Farah.” I said. “Morning Razan.” She replayed and stood up and hugged me. “We have social studies today.” Farah commented. I nodded. Sienna arrived a while after.
“Hi girls, how are you?” Sienna asked. We waved at her then stood up and hugged her. “We’re fine.” Farah answered for us both. “Do you guys have social studies today?” Sienna asked.
“Yes.” Farah and I answered. “Alright we are so making a mess today.” She said. Farah and I looked at each other. “Hell yeah.” We answered at the same time. A while after Sienna left for her class and so did we. Classes were normal.
During PE class while waiting for Sienna, she entered class with a blond girl. I wonder who that girl was. She ran up to me leaving that girl behind. "So how can I help, your highness?" She asked.
"Cover me till I get dressed." I requested. She covered me. "Let me know when you're done." She said. 2 minutes later, "All done." I said and kissed Sienna on the cheek.
"Do you need me to cover you?" I asked. "Nah I'm good." She said. We got out of the dressing room. The class was about tennis. I had a problem with that sport. So Sienna teamed up with me and we started playing. I didn’t get the hang of it.
"Razan wait a minute I suck as a teacher maybe Aseel can help you she's better than me in tennis." I said. "Okay." Razan agreed. I wondered who Aseel was. I can’t believe there is someone who’s better than Sienna in anything.
Sienna was headed the blond girl’s way. Was that Aseel? I wondered. Sienna held that girl’s hand and ran back toward me. "Razan this is Aseel." Sienna said. So this is Aseel. Sienna continued, "Aseel this is Razan, she have a problem with her hand she can’t swing hard." She told Aseel.
"Nice to meet you, first." Aseel told me and give me a hand shake. "Nice to meet you too." I told Aseel. "Don’t worry about your swing everybody have that at first you'll get the hang of it." Aseel explained.
"Well I think I'll look for another partner and you guys team up." Sienna said, and went looking for a partner. As Aseel was helping me with my tennis skills, she asked me. “For how long have you and Sienna known each other?!” she asked. “Hmm…12 years I guess, since KG school.” I said. I wonder how that conversation came up.
After the end of the class, "Sienna, can you come here for a second?" I called Sienna. She ran up to me, "How can I of help, Hime-sama?" She asked. I liked it when she spoke that way. "Well can you help me with the zipper?" I asked.

Its school again, the ultimate escape from home. I don’t have to worry about my sibling. I get to live that almost perfect life time again. The bus came to pick us up.

After school when I got home. I did my homework and helped my sisters with theirs. I overheard dad telling my mom that he won’t be home tomorrow. I was relieved. One day drama free that sounded nice.
So I tried to play the piano. That song had a slow tempo. It was jigoku shoujo – kaen. My little sister was sitting next to me she hugged me tight when I finished the song.
My dad wasn’t as aggressive tonight as he was before. Is this god’s way to get me through my day? I wondered. My fingers were hurting though I slept off the pain. I woke up earlier the next day.

Sienna went to the teacher to correct her notebook. “Razan don’t forget you have to tell her tonight.” I whispered in Razan’s ear. After that class Sienna, Razan and I went to our next class. "What’s up with that teacher?" Razan asked.
"I have no idea." Farah said. When we got to our next class the teacher entered after us. She looked so innocent I think it’s hear first year teaching. Razan and Sienna were messing around but I paid attention.

So it’s the first day of school. I went to school late to get my time table. It was around 8 am. No one was at school though. So I got out of school and went to Dustin’s house.
“Man there’s no one at school.” I said. “I know I got my time table and came back home.” Dustin said. “How about we call the guys to get some practice done?” I suggested. Dustin called Steven.
I called Ron.”Where are you man?” I asked. “I’m home.” he answered. “Come over to Dustin’s house. We’re having practice.” I said. “Oh! For the recording session tonight! I’m on my way.” He said.
“Yah, good.” I said and hang up. “Dustin, Ron is on his way.” I said. “So is Steven.” Dustin replay. The guys arrived shortly after. We practiced for 4 hours trying to perfect our songs.
We went out after practice to get something to eat. After we ate I went home to shower and get some rest. I called Sienna awhile after. “Hello, how are you?” I asked. “Hey, I’m fine, what about you?” She answered.
“I’m great, just wanted to check on you and see how you were doing.” I explained. “Well I’m better than ever, today was the first day of school as you know.” She said.
“Yah, it sucks.” I said. “Why? What happened?” Sienna wondered. “No one was at school. In other words I went there for nothing.” I complained. “Sorry to hear that.” She said.
“Oh well I just called to see how you were doing. I’ll talk to you later.” I reminded her. “Sure Later.” She said and hanged up. I went back to Dustin’s place. All the members were there. We went to the studio together.
At the studio I saw Tariq from Burning Corps. He was talking to Adam. Adam is the sound engineer. He does all the song mixing. “Hey Waleed, do you mind if Tariq stayed to observe?” Adam asked.
“No I don’t mind he is welcome to stay.” I said. “Thanks man.” Tariq said. We managed to record one full song that day which was good for a start. “Waleed can Tariq come for every recording session?” Adam asked.
“Yah, of course he helped us a lot. That’s the least we can repay him.” I said. Next day school was also out. We had a band meeting. I had this idea in mind. I wanted to play Sienna’s song acoustically. The same way I played it for her that day.
“What if Tariq realize that it’s about her?” Ron asked. “It’s okay. She agreed on the song.” I said. “Alright man. one acoustic song it is.” Dustin said. I’m sure that Dustin understood me.
I mean if he could play the guitar I’m sure he would’ve done the same for his girlfriend. I think Steven was asleep. So tonight I’ll record Sienna’s song acoustically in front of her brother.
